Ancient Ram Inn, Wotton Under Edge

The Ancient Ram Inn is a historic public house in Wotton Under Edge, Gloucestershire. It is thought to be a hot bed of paranormal activity with some reports of extreme phenomena. Located on crossed ley lines are you brave enough to visit the Ancient Ram?
History
The property was believed to have been constructed in 1145, however little is know about it from the date of construction to circa 1350. It is believed that during this time is was used predominately as a church house which sheltered the masons, salves and children involved in the construction of the nearby St Marys' Church. From 1350 onwards the property was used as a public house.
The site where the property is constructed is believed to have been the site of an old pagan burial site (approximately 5000 years ago) where human sacrifice took place. This added to the crossing ley lines makes this a very interesting location.
There are reports that there are two secret tunnels which can be accessed from the property, one leads to St Marys' Church while the other leads to Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire which is approximately 15 miles away.
From 1350-1820 the property was known as 'The Tan House', however there are short periods of time where the name 'The Old Sun' was recorded. The property became known as 'The Ancient Ram' in 1820. It ceased being used as a public house in 1967.
